Shipping policy

Shipping Information

Grow At The Pros ships Canada-wide from Chatham, Ontario. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email update with shipping details along with the associated tracking number. Please check your spam/trash folder if you do not receive a shipping confirmation email. For Canpar tracking, click "track shipment" to see tracking information on all parcels associated with your order.

Please Note:

  • Tracking information might be updated between 1 to 2 business days after your order has been shipped.
  • Extra large or heavy parcels may arrive 1-2 days later than the rest of your order. These items are sorted manually by most couriers and this delay can cause them to arrive separately from smaller boxes on your order.
  • Our shipping team operates MON-FRI, orders are normally shipped within 24 hours during this time. Please allow for up to 2-4 extra days for shipping after holidays and major promotions (ex. Boxing Day, Black Friday, etc)
  • Orders with liquids are shipped with a signature required from mid-December to Early March. This is to prevent shipments from sitting outside in freezing temperatures, which can damage or destroy some products and/or packaging. If you do not want a signature required we can ship at the customer's risk, please let us know via email to shipping@indoorfarmer.ca

 

Free Shipping over $125* (Conditions Apply)

Orders over CAN $125 placed through Grow At The Pros qualify for FREE Shipping, excluding oversized items. Free shipping is based on your pre-tax order subtotal, any discounts or promotions that bring your subtotal before taxes below $125 will no longer qualify for free shipping. Orders ship from our Chatham, Ontario location in 2-3 business days.

Grow At The Pros free shipping may use one of the following carriers: Canada Post, FedEx, UPS, ICS, Canpar, and Purolator. Customers do not get to specify their preferred carrier, we select the carrier based on speed and cost of delivery. If you require a specific carrier for your deliveries, you should select a paid shipping option for that carrier.

We reserve the right to cancel & refund any package where we cannot economically ship an item. If this happens you will be refunded in full and notified of the issue. We can ship to most parts of Canada with the exception of very rural areas. Most shipping carriers do not ship to PO boxes. If you enter a PO box for your shipping address and select the free shipping option, Grow At The Pros may have to contact you to provide an alternative delivery address.

Items that qualify for free shipping over $125 will be tagged "Product Eligible for free shipping on orders over $125":

Oversized Item Shipping

Oversized products are not eligible for free shipping. If you have oversized items in your cart, shipping will be calculated on your order at checkout. These products may be priced higher than in our retail stores to cover packaging expenses and handling. If your order contains oversized products, and over $125 of free shipping products, we recommend you place two separate orders, one for the oversized items and paid shipping and one for items eligible for free shipping to save the most on your purchase. 

Oversized products will be clearly tagged "Oversized Item - Not Eligible for Free Shipping" on the product page:

Discreet Shipping

All orders placed through Grow At The Pros come with discreet shipping (unmarked packages).

 

Shipping & Handling Time

There may be up 2 to 3 business days of Handling Time before your order is shipped. Our shipping department operates Monday to Friday, from 9AM to 5PM.  Major promotions (ex. Boxing Day, Black Friday) may delay shipping by an additional 3-5 business days.

 

RETURNS & REFUNDS

 

Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Unfortunately due to the high cost of shipping, we are no longer able to provide free returns for unwanted items. We can provide a return shipping label for the product to be returned via Canada Post on our account for a $15 fee per parcel returned. The fee will be deducted from your refund when items are returned. Customers are welcome to make their own shipping arrangements to avoid the charge and returns to our retail store have no charge.

To start a return, you can contact us at admin@growatthepros.ca If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order right away and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

 

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable or sterile goods (such as mushroom substrate), custom products, and requests (such as special orders). All items in the Clearance Centre are final sale and cannot be returned. We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

 

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

 

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

 

Warranty
Grow At The Pros may be able to exchange products under warranty with the manufacturers approval. Some brands do not allow us to facilitate the warranty process and must be contacted directly by the customer for warranty support. If you have a warranty issue please contact us or reference the warranty terms in the product manual. Clearance products are final sale only, and cannot be returned for exchange, credit or refunds.
